Files made of coloured glass

Colourfulness of glass files can be achieved by two different methods. On the one hand it is a traditional coating of paint to the initial transparent file, on the other hand by using the stained-glass pane.

The advantage of files made of coloured glass is their absolute colour fastness (glass is stained already during the metallurgical process by adding metal oxides). A certain limitation here is a smaller scale of colours and only 3 mm thickness of those files.
