Grinding tools

The term grinding tools covers all glass products with grinding surface which is etched directly into the glass surface. These tools are in their size and shape adapted to special purposes. They have many applications from rasps for removing horny skin, manicure sticks, files for plastics, soft metals and wood, sets for grinding reed for musicians, glass tiles for bathrooms or swimming pools up to files for pets.

The common features of all the glass grinding tools are their easy maintenance, high durability of the grinding area and owing to a specific structure of the grinding surface also very effective stock removal. The surface of the grinding area is finer in comparison with routine grinding surfaces and so it does not tear the skin and the surfaced area is smooth, without burr and deep scratches.

OPHRE Project

The project "Education for Increasing Competitiveness of Blažek Glass s.r.o.", scheduled for 19 months, was launched in January 2011. It focuses on provision of comprehensive general education for employees of Blažek Glass s.r.o. with a special emphasis on the employers in the age group above 50 years.
